The bay below, and another island on the horizon. Villa Lluerna faces south from a residential enclave with round-the-clock security, one of the most exclusive in the Balearic Islands.
About the villa
The house has 528 m² and a glass-fronted upper floor that seems to float above the infinity pool. On the living level, the open-plan lounge has a fireplace and a wine wall, and the kitchen is a professional one, finished in marble and brass. All four bedrooms are en suite (five bathrooms in all), air-conditioned and sea-facing; two with king beds and two with doubles, in wood, stone and polished cement. Outside, loungers and daybeds line the pool deck, shaded sofas look out to sea, a summer kitchen serves a table for eight and a sunset terrace sits among tropical planting.
Setting
The nearest beach, with its restaurant, is a kilometre away: three minutes by car. Shops are six minutes off and a clifftop village seven. The area's best-known beach clubs are a quarter of an hour away and the airport about 26 minutes. Access to the enclave is controlled, something guests with a public profile value highly.
